Bernie has never been a big fan of summer. He gets too hot easily, and prefers cool or cold weather! He loves when the days start getting chilly and he runs around our yard like a little puppy.
In Northeast Ohio, our fall days can feel like summer….or winter!
Bernie’s favorite days are when the temperature is just right to leave our back door open so he can run in and out.
He loves the fall festivities like pumpkin carving and trick-or-treat.
Bernie’s squirrel friends also love this time of year. He has a full-time job being on squirrel duty! They like to come up on our deck and eat the bird’s sunflower seeds, but Bernie does a great job of keeping them in their trees.
This silly toy is one of Bernie’s favorites. It has been repaired several times because Spike loves to pull the fluff out of it.
We love seeing pictures of the Bernie books in the Doctor’s waiting room. Thank you, Dr. Rogers!
